HardLink Consumer Benefits

Using HardLink has a direct impact on the quality of experience your customers have when accessing your mobile content. HardLink gives customers:

Adapted Mobi content

HardLink works with your Mobi site delivery platform to ensure your Mobi content is always formatted appropriately for their device.

More relevant advertising and content

HardLink records the Tags a device has Snapped across all your campaigns. Your Mobi site can use this information to deliver advertising and content selected to match your customers’ Snapping habits.

A central place to view Tags they have Snapped

HardLink will shortly enable customers to log into a ‘My HardLinks’ portal. Within this portal customers will be able to see all Tags they have Snapped and instantly visit the target sites. This allows customers to Snap a Tag that they see while on the move and then view the content at their leisure, or on a larger screen when they return to their office or home. For example, a customer could Snap a Tag on a Real Estate ‘For Sale’ board and know they will be able to view the details of the house when they get home. This is much simpler than trying to write down the address details, and the name and number of the agent.

An easy way to store their details and choose who to trust

HardLink will shortly support a registration model which allows customers to register their details, such as name, telephone number, email address etc. on the HardLink platform. An enhancement to the HardLink API will allow other Mobi sites to request information from this profile as long as the customer has chosen to trust the Mobi site.The “My HardLinks” portal (see above) will allow customers to manage which Mobi sites they have trusted to access their profile information.
